We are professional organizers working in the Northern Virginia and offer a full spectrum of services – junk drawer to fully hoarded homes. Sometimes, life just gets busy and things slide a little. This can result in a basement full of boxes or a garage that has no room for your car. Whether your kids have finally moved out and you're afraid to go into their rooms, or you've just inherited a lifetime of possessions from your parents, life can become overwhelming.
Most professional organizers work by themselves. We have a team of organizers so we can match you with someone with whom you can work well, based on your needs and your personality. For big tasks we also have assistants that can help make things quicker and easier. We are concerned about your privacy, which is, after all, one of your most valuable possessions. That's why we all have signed non-disclosure agreements.
Our founder, Maria, is a Board-Certified Professional Organizer (CPO®) which puts her among the elite in the industry. She is also an author. Her first book, Hoarding for Law Enforcement and Other Public Officials – 2nd edition, is a guide for public officials on how to navigate in a world that can be overwhelming for the unprepared. Her second book, A Practical Guide to Hoarding for Friends and Family, is geared towards educating the general population about hoarding. Her most recent book, A Practical Guide to Hoarding for Friends and Family Therapist's Supplement, is a companion to the Practical Guide and is for therapists who will never physically enter their client's home and won't experience the unique problems and dangers that a hoarded environment presents.
