My name is Courtney and I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a list maker, office supply junkie, floral pattern lover and a professional home organizer.
For years, I’ve dreamed of running my own business and being a professional organizer. For a long time, I didn’t picture those things together. I was born an entrepreneur, but a home organizer never felt “good enough.” It is the ONE thing I can’t stop thinking about and that truly energizes me at my core! Being a professional home organizer is what I was called to do. So rather than being afraid of making the leap of running my own business, Orderly Spaces KC was born.
I love the feeling I get when I open a closet and immediately want to “fix” everything about it. There are (in general) three camps of people and how they approach organizing. When I say organizing, I mean, literally taking everything out, evaluating what you have and creating a system to fit your lifestyle.
Camp #1: Immediately feel overwhelmed, you don’t want to think about it any longer because it is already giving you SO much anxiety.
Camp #2: You work up the motivation to reorganize your space. It’s a ton of work and while it is cleaned up and much better, it doesn’t last and eventually looks cluttered and like you never touched it.
Camp #3: It’s an energizing task, but you really don’t want to go at it alone.
The final camp of people are those that THRIVE in this environment. No matter what camp you are in, as your home organizer, I can completely take the work off your hands OR we can work at it together to create a system that works for you and your family.
