Hi my name is Susan Novara and I am a Professional Organizer. I love working with people to make their home spaces function better.

I work with clients who are moving. I help them to decide what to keep and what to donate before their move. Items that they don’t want to keep I offer suggestions for removal. Taking their items to donation centers is one of the options of the services that I provide.

I have been a professional organizer for about eight years. Previously I have been a teacher and a Speech Language Pathologist. I am a trained Professional Organizer and member of NAPO (National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals) with a Specialist Certificate in Residential Organizing and Life Transitions. Currently I am a member of the MI NAPO chapter. I am the former Director of Membership. Our MI Chapter continues to offer education through speakers at our monthly meetings.

I also understand the necessity of being connected to our community. I am a member of the Council for Action on Aging which consists of individuals that represent various organizations and services that support our senior citizens. We meet monthly and different speakers give information on how we can be of service to our seniors. Working with seniors is a joy for me. I have helped many seniors sort through their neglected papers and develop a system for their important papers. I have also helped many who are moving to a new space by making floor plans for the furniture in their new home. I also pack/unpack their boxes when they have moved or will be moving to a new setting. Many extended family members do not live in the same state as their loved one so I am available to do the unpacking and organizing their new space. That environment could be an apartment, smaller home or even an assisted living home.

I have also been featured in our local Canton Today magazine in the summer of 2024. I have been featured on Channel 7 Action News about tips for setting up a garage sale. These are some of the media opportunities that have helped my business to grow.

Are you tired of buying again what you already have but can't find? You're not alone! Together, we can restore order to your home and eliminate that frustration. We've been helping busy moms, combined families, artists, and newly relocated families for sixteen years. We will help you with what to keep, where to put it, and what to do with everything else. We work together with you at your own pace to decide what goes to deep storage and what goes out for donation. We'll containerize, label and relocate the things you use every day to make them easy to find and easy to put away. We do all the legwork. This includes donations, recycling, and purchasing and assembling of shelving.
As an interior design major at Bowling Green University, I learned space planning. I like to use what you already have to rearrange your space and make it more functional. Of course, we can also recommend/purchase new matching containers for a "Home Edit" look as well! Containers can be purchased for you and boxes and baskets you already have on hand can be repurposed for sorting and storage.

Most people like to work in 4 hour increments and do some “homework” in between. Certainly, longer days are available as well.

We now offer packing and unpacking services as well as personal assistant and home manager duties. This includes errands, mailings, shopping, mending, and small repairs, as well as managing special orders and deliveries, returns, pet transportation, and non medical elder care.
