My name is Betty, and I have helped hundreds of Southeast Michigan residents reclaim their homes, offices, and peace of mind. Through personalized, hands-on organizing, I help clients create spaces that work for their lives—so they can focus on what matters most.

Logical Placement LLC is a full-service organizing company that has been helping clients create calm, functional spaces since 2001.

Many people feel overwhelmed or stressed when their spaces become cluttered. It can be frustrating when you can’t find important paperwork or when your home no longer feels peaceful. I work side-by-side with my clients to sort through the clutter, develop practical organizing solutions, and create systems that are easy to maintain.

Some of my clients have worked with me for many years. Many struggle with challenges such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, or chronic disorganization. My role is never to judge—only to support, guide, and help you move toward a more organized and manageable life.

Professional Experience & Certifications - I believe strongly in continuing education and professional development. I helped start the Michigan chapter of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO) in 2003 and have remained an active member of the board ever since. I currently serve as the Chapter President.

My professional credentials include: Residential Productivity Specialist Certificate (2016), Workplace Productivity Specialist Certificate (2016), Life Transitions Specialist Certificate (2018), and a Certificate of Study in Chronic Disorganization from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization.

Hi my name is Susan Novara and I am a Professional Organizer. I love working with people to make their home spaces function better.

Are you tired of spending time looking for items that you KNOW that you have, but you don’t remember where you put them? I am here to help you set your goals and help you to organize your items and space. Having a system that works FOR YOU is key to having and maintaining an organized space in your home. I help my clients to define their needs and determine their style of living before providing suggestions to help them decide what to keep and what to donate. I approach every individual with dignity, compassion and a judgement free attitude creating customized solutions that promote success and peace of mind.

I work with clients who are moving. I help them to decide what to keep and what to donate before their move. Items that they don’t want to keep I offer suggestions for removal. Taking their items to donation centers is one of the options of the services that I provide.

I have been a professional organizer for about eight years. Previously I have been a teacher and a Speech Language Pathologist. I am a trained Professional Organizer and member of NAPO (National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals) with a Specialist Certificate in Residential Organizing and Life Transitions. Currently I am a member of the MI NAPO chapter. I am the former Director of Membership. Our MI Chapter continues to offer education through speakers at our monthly meetings.

I also understand the necessity of being connected to our community. I am a member of the Council for Action on Aging which consists of individuals that represent various organizations and services that support our senior citizens. We meet monthly and different speakers give information on how we can be of service to our seniors. Working with seniors is a joy for me. I have helped many seniors sort through their neglected papers and develop a system for their important papers. I have also helped many who are moving to a new space by making floor plans for the furniture in their new home. I also pack/unpack their boxes when they have moved or will be moving to a new setting. Many extended family members do not live in the same state as their loved one so I am available to do the unpacking and organizing their new space. That environment could be an apartment, smaller home or even an assisted living home.

I have also been featured in our local Canton Today magazine in the summer of 2024. I have been featured on Channel 7 Action News about tips for setting up a garage sale. These are some of the media opportunities that have helped my business to grow.
